Little Rays Group of Day Nurseries was established in 1993 by Kieron a nd Michelle Rea who were themselves looking for quality child care. This task proved more difficult than first anticipated and so the idea of Little Rays was born.
The whole ethos behind Little Rays is to provide the kind of child care that Kieron and Michelle wanted for their own children, all of whom have attended Little Rays.
Currently there is Little Rays Lambeg, just outside Lisburn, Little Rays Ballymena, on the Galgorm Road and Little Rays Moira, in the heart of the town.
The provision of a homely, friendly atmosphere is paramount as is the safety of the children.

Facilities
 Little Rays caters for children from 2 months to 12 years, all within their own age group. An experienced cook is on hand to provide home cooked, nutritious meals daily. All food is prepared fresh every day. No processed foods are served.
Each room provides specific equipment for the age of child which use that room.
Outdoor play is promoted and vast playground space is provided at each nursery for all year round use. Children from 2yrs up go outside every day, younger children go out as much as possible.
We also have a visit from Jo Jingles, a musical and movement experience, weekly in each nursery, Jo visits all the children from 2nd stage babies to pre school children.
Regular trips are organised for the pre and after school children, including a visit to the pantomime each year, as well as visits to farms, parks, cinema and other topical locations.
Visitors are welcomed to each nursery eg. Librarians, police, ambulance crew etc.
